Our dApp, makes creating manageable and automated tax calculations and withdrawals easy. Simply put, our dApp looks at offchain and onchain data to identify taxable events using NZ tax law, then calculates the tax rate and then deposits this taxed amount into a tax vault in NZDD tokens. This caters largely to traders who realise taxable income while still onchain / haven't offramped.
How it was built
We used, solidity, foundry for testing, deploying, ethers.js for smart contract and front end integration, react.js and next.js for the front end frameworks. We used a template for the front end to speed up the MVP and used the browser injection for ethers and metamask instead of something like wallet connect again to speed up mvp. Finally we used github to store and work on the code collaboratively.
